Hi, I’m Tracey — founder of We Are Cultured.
I discovered fermentation after making my first batch of kombucha - and I was hooked.
From there, I tried everything: kimchi, miso, koji, natto, tempeh. I loved the mix of tradition, science, and creativity… and the quiet magic of watching something transform on the countertop.
What started as a home hobby grew into a small-batch fermentary. I spent years making kimchi, sauerkraut, and other ferments for customers. These days, I still ferment at home - but now I design T-shirts for people who share the same obsession as me.
